Herbert won't seek higher office in 2016

Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista reveals future plans for the city including a tower for disaster risk reduction management, which can benefit residents during times of emergencies. Bautista said the tower will be built in the current location of the Manila Seedling Bank, which is no longer operating. He also said there are plans to build a new convention center, and to move the Veterans Memorial Medical Center to a new location. Meanwhile, Bautista asserted he will not seek for a higher position in the 2016 elections, but will run for re-election. That's unless House Speaker Sonny Belmonte requests him not to run in favor of his daughter and current vice mayor, Joy Belmonte. ANC News Now, June 7, 2014
