Maricar Reyes opens up about married life

MANILA - Actress Maricar Reyes expressed her excitement as she and her husband, singer Richard Poon, are set to celebrate their first wedding anniversary on June 9. In an interview at a press conference for her upcoming series, "Sana Bukas Pa Ang Kahapon," Reyes admitted that she continues to learn a lot of things from her marriage. "Ano siya, confront every small thing. 'Yun ang natutunan ko sa kanya. Kasi ako kapag may problema, usually I run from it, ganyan, or mananahimik na lang kami. So nag-aaway kami pero on the same day eh ayaw naming matulog na hindi kami bati," she said. Reyes also opened up about the little things that usually cause their misunderstanding. "Na magkaiba pala kami sa toothpaste, siya 'yung sa top ako sa bottom. So it took a while for me to realize, kasi when you live alone you don't realize those things. But when I brush with him every morning, bakit ganoon, bakit ganito ang toothpaste?" she said. It was in 2010 when Poon admitted that he is going out with Reyes. Currently, Reyes is busy taping for "Sana Bukas Pa Ang Kahapon" which will premiere this June 16 replacing the hit show "The Legal Wife."
