Man waiting for bus hit by Ferrari

MAKATI CITY – A Chinese national driving a Ferrari hit a man who was waiting for a bus at a loading bay in EDSA Ayala early Thursday morning, reports said. Authorities identified the victim as Dean Pangilinan, who was rushed to a nearby hospital. The suspect, meanwhile, has been identified as Ricky Dee. "Pagpasok niya sa bus stop, sumampa yung kanyang gulong sa island, kaya tinamaan niya yung tao," according to Larry Azures, a personnel of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority who witnessed the accident. Dee, who tried to flee, denied he was driving the Ferrari and claimed he was with a driver. But witnesses said he was alone. "Yun pong nakaputing long sleeves, siya po yung nakita namin," MMDA personnel Nikson Abalos said. "Nakita po namin, solo lang po siya,” another MMDA personnel, Mark Bernardo, said.
