NBA to name CEO to oversee Clippers

The NBA will appoint a new chief executive officer to oversee the Los Angeles Clippers. This, after the lifetime ban impost on owner Donald Sterling over his racist remarks. The NBA is also pursuing efforts to force Sterling to sell the team. Meanwhile, former NBA player and now Sacramento Mayor Kevin Johnson believes Sterling should apologize. The LA Clippers brushed aside the controversy as they advanced in the playoffs after beating the Golden State Warriors, 126-121, in Game 7 of their first-round match-up yesterday. -- Mornings @ ANC, May 5, 2014.
