LaShawn Daniels Dead at 41
LaShawn Daniels, who helped write songs
for many major artists, died on Sept. 4. His family broke the news in a statement
to Instagram, saying he was the “victim of
a fatal car accident in South Carolina.” April Daniels, via
'Page Six' Daniels was best known for his work with artists
such as Beyoncé, Lady Gaga and Jennifer Lopez. He also won a Grammy in 2000 for
Destiny Child’s song, “Say My Name,”
and was nominated in 2013 for
Tamar Braxton’s “Love and War.” Daniels is survived by his wife, April Daniels,
and three kids, Omarr, Tahshon and Jett.
