Vice-president Zuraida Kamaruddin, who has been absent from party meetings, said this was because PKR president Anwar Ibrahim did not entertain the reconciliation letters sent to him.
According to her, Anwar replied to the first letter saying he was going on a pilgrimage to Mecca.
“We then sent a second letter and a third, to ask for a meeting between the president and certain central leadership council members who were elected in the party polls,” she added.
Previously, PKR secretary-general Saifuddin Nasution Ismail said those who wished to reconcile with Anwar should attend the monthly meetings.
However, Zuraida dismissed his response, saying the letters were addressed to Anwar and not Saifuddin.
