MANILA, Philippines – It took Genesis Servania 12 rounds, but he was finally able to put away former world champion Alexander Munoz of Venezuela in the final round of their junior featherweight showdown at Pinoy Pride. Servania battered Munoz over 12 rounds, twice dropping the veteran, and connected with a brutal right cross in the final round to send Munoz sprawling to the canvas. Munoz was able to beat the count, but referee Danrex Tapdasan stopped the bout at the 2:22 mark, giving Servania a technical knockout victory. Servania hiked his record to 24-0 with 10 stoppage wins. -- Pinoy Pride, March 2, 2014.
