Adamson claims last F4 volleyball berth

MANILA, Philippines – The Adamson Lady Falcons topped the FEU Lady Tamaraws in a five-set thriller to clinch the last spot in the Final Four of the UAAP Season 76 women’s volleyball tournament. Adamson overcame a one-set deficit and a slow start in the fifth set to eventually book their slot in the step-ladder semi-finals. Shiela Pineda again came up big for the Lady Falcons with 25 points on 24 attacks and one block. Adamson will face off against the third-seeded Ateneo Lady Eagles on Saturday, with the winner of the showdown advancing to play the second-seeded National University Lady Bulldogs. -- Mornings @ ANC, February 20, 2014.
