MANILA -- The gorgeous landscapes, beaches and rock formations of Northern Luzon will be the setting of reality competition"Survivor" for its next two seasons. After several seasons of shooting in Camarines Sur, the US reality TV show chose Palaui Island in the north east tip of Luzon as its latest location, along with various parts of Cagayan Valley like Gotan, Anguib and Pozo Robo beaches. From Tuguegarao, ABS-CBN News' Marie Lozano and her team traveled three hours to Sta. Ana, Cagayan and 45 minutes by boat to Palaui Island. Some 300 cast and crew members of "Survivor" arrived in the island where they set up camp, and shot the various challenges and tribal council. The Cagayan Economic Zone Authority said tourism has tripled in the island since the show wrapped up shooting in August last year.
