4 nabbed for allegedly holding pot session

MANILA – Four people, including two minors, were apprehended for allegedly holding a pot session in Barangay Acacia, Malabon City on Monday evening. Barangay tanod (watchman) Lester Yu said he and other watchmen were roving around the village when they smelled marijuana coming from an alley. The smoke led them to the four people, but the latter were not caught holding a pot session. Barangay officials said they retrieved seven improvised pipes hidden on the wall where the four people were seen. The suspects are set to undergo drug tests. If proven to have taken marijuana, the two minors will have to be placed under the custody of social workers. – report from Carolyn Bonquin, ABS-CBN News
