X-Factor winner celebrates with Pinoys in Israel

MANILA - The Filipino community in Israel celebrated the victory of “X Factor” champion Rose Fostanes. Fostanes, together with her close friends, as well as Philippine ambassador to Israel Generoso Calonge, held a party in Tel Aviv. In an interview with "Umagang Kay Ganda" via Skype on Thursday, Fostanes thanked all the Filipinos who supported her not just in Israel, but even in the Philippines. "Masaya akong makasama sila. Dahil sa kanila kaya ako nakapasok sa 'X Factor,'" she said. Fostanes also said she is offering her win to all her fellow countrymen. "Balak ko po umuwi dyan para pasalamatan ang mga Pilipino na sumporta kahit malayo sila. Gusto ko magpasalamat sa kanila ng personal. Gusto ko rin makita pamilya ko,” she said. She said her schedule is now full with all the media interviews and TV show appearances, but she asserted that she will not leave her old job completely. "Pahinga muna pero hindi ko iiwan ang employer ko kasi isa siya sa mga sumuporta sa akin kaya ako nakasali," she said. Fostanes added she is now slowly starting to get used to fame.
