Devotees continue to arrive at the Quirino Grandstand in Manila to visit the image of the Black Nazarene for the "Pahalik" tradition. An estimated 7 million devotees are expected to queue for the Pahalik today. A vigil will start at 7 p.m. on today and end at 4 a.m. Thursday, January 9. The procession of the image towards the basilica, called the "traslacion", will begin at 7:30 a.m. Thursday after the mass presided by Manila Archbishop Luis Antonio Cardinal Tagle.
