MANILA – Two people were victimized by a woman who promised them of iPhone 5 units for an unbelievably low price. Taxi driver Robert Marfil and Mila Belmas lost some P20,000 worth of cash and gadgets to the suspect who only introduced herself as "Maribel." According to Marfil, the suspect promised to bring him six iPhone 5 units under her "Buy 2, Take 1" promo. Marfil said he deposited his payment to the suspect's bank account. Marfil waited for the suspect to turnover the gadgets at the Quirino Grandstand in Manila, but the latter did not arrive. Mila, meanwhile, said she gave an iPad tablet to the suspect who promised to give her a newer model. – report from Francis Faulve, ABS-CBN News
