MANILA, Philippines – In the Champions League, Manchester City’s reward for reaching the knockout stage for the first time is a meeting with Barcelona. The Spanish champions will first travel to Etihad Stadium to face the robust line-up of Man City. Meanwhile, defending champions Bayern Munich were paired with Arsenal in the last 16 for the second straight year. Last season’s runners-up, Borussia Dortmund, will play Zenit St. Petersburg, while Manchester United were paired with Olympiakos Piraeus. Real Madrid, seeking a 10th title, will play Germany’s Schalke, while high-flying Atletico Madrid will take on AC Milan. The Champions League final is at Lisbon’s Stadium of Light on May 24. -- Mornings @ ANC, December 17, 2013.
