WATCH: Donaire floors Darchinyan in 9th round

MANILA, Philippines – Nonito “The Filipino Flash” Donaire overcame a sluggish start to stop Armenian boxer Vic “The Raging Bull” Darchinyan in the ninth round of their rematch in Corpus Christi, Texas. After a seemingly passive start, Donaire came out on fire in the ninth round, staggering Darchinyan with a combination and then finally landing a left hook that sent the Armenian to his knees. The referee finally stopped the fight after Donaire unloaded several more punches on Darchinyan, who was trapped in a corner. More from this report. ANC, November 10, 2013.
