Smart: Restoration of communication services underway

Smart Communications on Sunday said it is hoping to restore communication services in the typhoon-hit areas especially in Tacloban City within the next few days. In an interview with ANC, Smart Public Affairs head Ramon Isberto said the company has been working on the restoration since super typhoon Yolanda left the affected areas. Isberto added Smart has also been providing satellite communications to authorities both to local and the national agencies. – ANC, November 10, 2013
