Classes in Bohol to resume Wednesday

Rains continue to pound earthquake-hit Bohol, forcing authorities to suspend classes that were supposed to resume Tuesday. Bohol Governor Edgar Chatto told ANC heavy rains brought by tropical depression "Wilma" derailed the resumption of classes in the province over two weeks since a magnitude 7.2 quake struck on October 15. Chatto, however, said classes in all levels will resume Wednesday as part of continued efforts to restore normalcy in the province. Signal number 1 was raised in Bohol province on Monday but Chatto said the weather has since improved with Wilma now downgraded to a low pressure area (LPA). Chatto noted they are now preparing the province ahead of another approaching storm, "Yolanda," which is expected to make landfall later this week. ANC Dateline Philippines, November 5, 2013
