PNoy sleeps in tent with Bohol quake victims

LOON, BOHOL - President Aquino spent the night in Bohol to show unity with earthquake victims. Aquino, along with his Cabinet officials, stayed in tents in an open field in Loon. Interior and Local Government Secretary Mar Roxas said the President wanted to reassure residents that they are no longer in danger. "That's correct. The President was very explicit. He wanted to tell the people na itong mga wild and unfounded stories na lulubog ang Bohol or that a volcano will emerge and spew lava and ash, these are mga wild speculations that have no basis," he said. "He told the people here na para ipakita sa inyo na naniniwala siya at dapat paniwalaan yung scientists ng Phivolcs, dito siya matutulog. Dito kami ngayon sa open field at nasa mga tents.
