Appellate court receives bomb threat

MANILA – The Court of Appeals ordered the evacuation of all of its employees after it received a bomb threat on Wednesday morning. Security guard Edwin Gonzales received a call from an anonymous woman at around 9 a.m. saying an explosion will occur inside CA's main building along Ma. Orosa St. in Ermita. The call prompted the evacuation of all of CA's employees and justices inside the Salazar said the court is taking the threat seriously, given the recent bombings in Mindanao. Bomb experts of the Manila Police District arrived in the area at 9:55 am to search for possible explosives. Mornings@ANC, August 7, 2013
