DOJ not probing Loren, Koko, Sonny

MANILA - The justice department has cleared several senators of involvement in the alleged multi-billion peso pork barrel scam. Justice Secretary Leila de Lima said the NBI is not investigating Senators Loren Legarda, Koko Pimentel and Sonny Trillanes in the scam because their names do not appear in any of the affidavits in their possession. Senator Francis Escudero has renewed calls for a Senate probe into the controversy. ANC Headstart, August 2, 2013
