Elderly lady has remarkable escape when balcony wall collapses in India

An 80-year-old lady had a remarkable escape when a balcony wall she was leaning on collapsed.
The woman, Madhu Soma Patel, was hanging washing on the wall when it fell from the first floor of her house in the city of Surat in India.
Fortunately the lady didn't fall too far, thanks to a shop roof below, and she was later discharged from hospital with relatively minor injuries.
The incident happened in the afternoon of 29 August.
