Gas station lines, sand bags and empty shelves as Florida braces for Hurricane Dorian

Residents in Florida are bracing themselves for Hurricane Dorian by stocking up on food, fuel and sand bags.

In St Augustine, long queues were seen at petrol stations, supermarkets had empty shelves and locals were helping each other fill bags of sand.

There have been predictions that the hurricane could be the worst to hit the state in decades.
