It was in April 15, 1912 when the Titanic -- then the world's largest passenger ship -- sank in the North Atlantic Ocean, taking down more than 1,500 passengers and crew. Since then, many documentaries and movies have been made on the incident. National Geographic is now coming up a new documentary, "Mission Titanic", which will release globally next year.
For the documentary, which has been filmed by Atlantic Productions, the wreck of RMS Titanic has been revisited. A manned submersible went down to the bottom of the North Atlantic (3,810 meters/12,500 feet) in a groundbreaking expedition in early August.
