'No decision yet' on extension of S. Korea-Japan military info-sharing

By this Saturday, South Korea will have to decide whether it's going to keep sharing military intelligence with Japan.
According to the presidential office, there's been no decision yet.
Speaking to reporters, an official at the Blue House said any decision will consider a quantitative and qualitative assessment of military information and Japan's attitude about future relations.
The intelligence-sharing pact is known as the General Security of Military Information Agreement, or GSOMIA for short.
Seoul has raised the possibility of quitting it... with Japan having cited its own national security as why it imposed export restrictions on South Korea.
The pact will expire in November if Seoul says it does not want to extend it.
