Eugenia Cooney is a YouTuber who posts videos on fashion and beauty. With over 900,000 subscribers the young girl from New York has been in the news for ‘being too thin’.
Eugenia has been facing flak for being a ‘bad influence’ to the girls with anorexia or any eating disorder.
Followers on social media have been pleading Eugenia to address the fact that she might be facing a medical condition and requires immediate help.
Distressed with her videos a follower made a petition on change.org asking for a ban on her videos.
After getting around 18,000 signatures the petition was replaced with a sensitive petition named, Help Eugenia Cooney.
Under the weight of heavy criticism and concern Eugenia apologises for offending any viewer through her post saying she no bad intentions.
