Family tradition: Walking barefoot over fire

The Hernan family in Alfonso, Cavite has one strange tradition--walking over fire. 72-year-old Floreto Hernan said the ritual started from their ancestors who survived the eruption of Taal Volcano in 1911. Hernan claims that their tradition is rooted from the story of Noah in the Bible.
