Real Madrid train under Ancelotti

MANILA, Philippines – Real Madrid’s new coach Carlo Ancelotti has taken to the pitch for his first training session. Ancelotti, who signed for the club on a three-year deal in June replacing Jose Mourinho, took to the pitch at Real Madrid’s training ground at Valdebebas in the Spanish capital. The Italian had 19 players from the first team to watch over, including the club’s latest signings. Meanwhile, Rafael Varane and Xabi Alonso stayed in the gym because they are recovering from injurie s. The other missing faces were Iker Casillas and Sergio Ramos, who have an extended break because of their participation in the Confederations Cup in Brazil.
