N. Korea says it will engage in future dialogue only with U.S., not S. Korea

North Korea says it won't talk with South Korea... unless Seoul pulls out of its joint military drills with the U.S. or provides a convincing reason.
That's according to a statement released on Saturday morning,... by a senior North Korean foreign ministry official in charge of U.S. affairs.
The official said... any future talks would involve only the North and the U.S.,... not South Korea,... who he criticized for not recognizing Pyeongyang's right to self-defense.
This comes... after the North fired two short-range ballistic missiles into the East Sea on Saturday,... which were "new weapons" according to North Korea's state-run media.
