At present, there is a huge slowdown in the auto sector. There has been a steady decline in the sales of the leading automobile manufacturers. Vehicle dealers across the country are showing a large number of employees moving out amid a steep decline in vehicle sales. Industry association Federation of Automobile Dealers Association (FADA) has claimed that during the last three months, retailers have laid off about two lakh employees due to a huge drop in sales.

इस समय ऑटो सेक्‍टर में भारी मंदी देखने को मिल रही है। दिग्गज वाहन निर्माता कंपनियों की बिक्री में लगातार गिरावट दर्ज की गई है।वाहनों की बिक्री में भारी गिरावट के बीच देशभर में वाहन डीलर बड़ी संख्या में कर्मचारियों को बाहर का रास्ता दिखा रहे हैं। उद्योग संगठन फेडरेशन ऑफ ऑटोमोबाइल डीलर्स एसोसिएशन (फाडा) ने दावा किया है कि पिछले तीन माह के दौरान खुदरा विक्रेताओं ने बिक्री में भारी गिरावट की वजह से करीब दो लाख कर्मचारियों की छंटनी की है
