The Blue House is arranging a meeting with the country's five main conglomerates to draw up measures to deal with Japan's trade restrictions.
Kim Sang-jo, President Moon's chief of staff for policy, told reporters today that he's planning to hold talks with the vice presidents of Samsung Electronics, Hyundai Motor, SK, LG and Lotte,... although the date has not been fixed yet.
Reports have indicated that they're likely to sit down on Thursday.
Kim added that he has already met with all five VPs individually and as a group,... and that they continue to speak on the phone about Japan's trade curbs.
