In the next episode we will try to find for whom this scooter is a must buy!
This scooter is not for the following people:
1. People who travel above a total of 60-75kms in a day.
2. People who get reimbursed for their petrol bills.
3. People who are out of the Ather “Grid”. (The grid will grow as the company grows and it will take time.). There is no use asking when Ather will come to Assam, UP, Bihar, Kashmir, HP etc. It will sooner or later but it will take time...oops years.. But if by any chance they are not coming near you pretty soon... then there is no point in waiting for it. Eg people in remote states/smaller cities of India can forget about Ather at least for next 3 to 5yrs.
4. People who already have a scooter can wait till they sell off their vehicle. Then they can buy Ather scooter. By shifting from petrol to EV they can support Indian Rupee and the environment.
5. People who have power cut daily or at least once a week forget about Ather or any electric scooter unless they plan to install Solar Power.
6. Those who cannot charge their scooter every day. Since the range is only 60-75kms you will have to charge it regularly either at your place, or destination or somewhere in between. But charge it every day you must.
7. Somebody who doesn’t want to spend more than Rs 10 per day for charging (Rs 3,650 per year).
8. Those who are planning to buy a motorcycle.
