New Hampshire's second-largest city has twice been named "Money' magazine's "Best Place to Live in America," and is the only city in the country ever to win this honor twice. A low crime rate and low unemployment coupled with excellent schools and up-to-date healthcare facilities were all reasons cited for this ranking in 1987 and 1997.
