Supporters of the jailed far-right activist Tommy Robinson held a protest inside a busy central Manchester shopping centre on Saturday afternoon (July 27).

A group of about 100 protesters gathered in the Arndale Centre, chanting and unfurling a banner reading '#FreeTommy' on a first-floor balcony outside a Next store.

According to the filmer, security guards watched on and "didn't know what to do."

Earlier the group had marched through Manchester city centre.
