Are you bored of the same old unimaginative birthday cards sold in stores? Do prefer to send vouchers or best wishes in written form? Then the following 3 ideas are right up your alley! Today, we'll be making scratch cards. Whether it's for a raffle, a kids' birthday party or a fun game, these super scratch cards can be used for a whole host of activities...
1. Scratch Card
You'll Need:
- small card
- adhesive tape
- acrylic paint
- soap
Here's How:
First, design small scratch cards with the images and message you want — let your creativity run wild. For this trick, you'll need to create winner and loser scratch cards. Use adhesive tape to cover areas of the card that shouldn't be painted over later. Next, mix some acrylic paint with some soap and apply the mixture to the area which needs to be scratched off. Once the paint has dried, give the scratch cards to friends and see who comes out on top!
2. Magic Scratch Book
You'll Need:
- notebook
- wax crayons
- black acrylic paint
- soap
- skewers or toothpicks
Here's How:
Use wax crayons to create a checkered design on each page of the notebook. Next, mix the black acrylic paint with soap and cover each page. Once the paint has dried, use a skewer or toothpick to write or draw pictures by scratching into the black paint.
3. Birthday Scratch Card
You'll Need:
- homemade or store-bought birthday card
- acrylic paint
- soap
- glitter
- adhesive film
Here's How:
Attach clear adhesive film to the card. Now place adhesive tape to the areas that won't be used as a scratch-off panel. Mix acrylic paint with soap and glitter. Apply the mixture to the area that is going to be scratched off. Once the paint has dried, remove the adhesive tape and the recipient can scratch away to reveal the secret message on their birthday card.
