1. Make Jalapeños Less Spicy

If you love jalapeños, but they're just too darn spicy for you – here's an easy solution that will let you have your cake and eat it too! Roll the jalapeño back and forth under the palm of your hand a few times, cut off the end, and knock out the seeds. Finally, mild jalapeños that you can stomach!

2. Juice A Lemon Without A Press

If you desperately need some lemon juice and have no juice press or juicer on hand, simply roll the lemon back and forth under the palm of your hand a few times to soften up the inside. Then prick the end with a toothpick and squeeze the lemon over a glass. All juice and no seeds in less than 30 seconds!

3. Cut Watermelon Without A Knife

Maybe you packed yourself half of a watermelon to enjoy at a picnic or during a nice outing in the park. But what's that? You forgot to pack a knife? Fret not! All you need is some dental floss to easily cut perfect individual slices. Yummy!

4. Easily Squeeze A Lime

Limes can be very tricky to squeeze. To avoid the infamous struggle, cut off the sides of the citrus fruit and twist it over your glass – the juice will come out effortlessly. Talk about a drink with a twist!

5. Remove Avocado Seeds

All avocado lovers know that sometimes that pesky seed just doesn't want to come out, no matter how many brilliant kitchen hacks you try. But this is the last life hack you will ever need, because it's the one that will stick! Just cut the avocado into fourths and simply pull the seed out of the last piece.

6. Peel A Kiwi

The last thing you want to see happen when you peel your kiwi is that you left most of the yummy part of the fruit hanging on the skin... and then there's no use trying to scrape it off, because it just never works. Get the most of of your fruit by sticking a hand mixer attachment right in the center of the kiwi. Then just and pull!

7. Remove Strawberry Stems

Everybody loves strawberries, but nobody loves the stem. And if you try and cut it off, you risk losing a decent chunk of the strawberry. Never again! Just stick a straw through the bottom center part of the strawberry and push it through the fruit – the straw will push off the stem, leaving the strawberry whole and intact!

8. Substitute Rice With Low-Carb Cauliflower

If you're trying to cut back on carbs, but can't say goodbye to rice just yet, you'll love this low-carb substitute. Grate a head of cauliflower over a bowl, and replace your usual white rice with the shredded cauliflower bits. You'll love this healthy alternative and won't even be able to taste the difference!

9. Quickly Shuck An Ear Of Corn

Who has the patience to shuck an ear of corn when you just want to eat it so badly?! Or maybe you need the corn kernels for a salad or special dish and don't have the time to go the usual route. Just place a glass upside down in the middle of a bowl, place the ear of corn upright on the glass, and slice the corn kernels off in one fluid motion from top to bottom. Easy, breezy, beautiful!
