Are you having trouble pronouncing the word "bibimbap" correctly? There's no wonder as it's a Korean term that signifies a super tasty dish. The word roughly translates to "stirring rice" or "mixing rice" in English, and that's exactly what makes this recipe so special. The ingredients that you'll be folding into the rice create a unique flavor combination that's totally to die for!

You'll need:

For the meat component:

5½ oz ground beef
4 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp pear juice
1 tbsp honey
1 tbsp garlic, chopped fine

For the mushrooms:

3½ oz mushrooms
2 tbsp soy sauce

For the beansprouts:

2 oz beansprouts, blanched
1 tsp garlic
1 pinch salt
½ tbsp sesame oil

For the spinach:

2 oz spinach, blanched
1 tsp garlic, chopped fine
1 pinch salt
½ tbsp sesame oil
sesame seeds (if desired)

For the radish:

¼ radish
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp vinegar
½ tsp garlic, chopped fine

You'll also need:

oil for frying
1 carrot
½ zucchini
9 oz cooked sticky rice (short-grain rice)
1 egg
1 tbsp Gochujang (Korean chili sauce)
2 tbsp sesame oil

Here's How:

1. Cut the carrot and zucchini into thin slices and fry them in the pan.

2. Add the ground beef, soy sauce, pear juice, honey and finely chopped garlic to the pan and fry everything well.

3. Next, sweat the mushrooms in a pan with soy sauce.

4. Mix the blanched beansprouts with the garlic, a pinch of salt and some sesame oil.

5. Now it's time to work on the spinach — add garlic, salt, sesame oil and sesame seed to it and mix everything well.

6. Cut the radish into thin slices and marinate them in chili powder, sugar, vinegar, and garlic.

7. Now cook the sticky rice and transfer it to a bowl. Next, place the cooked ingredients from before on top.

8. To finish, place a fried egg on top and garnish the dish with sesame oil and chili sauce — you're done!

Just remember to mix everything together well before eating to give your bibimbap that unmistakably great taste. Enjoy!
