The City of Appleton, Wisconsin, was pummeled by strong winds, thunderstorms, and tornadoes on Saturday, July 20, destroying some vendor's tents at the local Farmer's Market, and uprooting trees and knocking out power lines. The National Weather Service reported that storms, high winds, and several weak, but fast moving, tornadoes caused the damage as it tore through eastern-central Wisconsin on Saturday.
