How to Uninstall VirtualBox Guest Additions on Linux Mint 19.1 Cinnamon?

Step 1: Right click on the desktop, and then click on 'open in terminal.'

Step 2: Type the command below to go to 'opt' directory, and then hit enter.

cd /opt

Step 3: Now, type 'ls' command to check your VirtualBox Guest Additions version, and then hit enter.

Step 4: Type the command below to uninstall it.

sudo/VBoxGuestAdditions-your-version/uninstall.sh

After that, hit enter key on the keyboard. Provide your Administrative password, and then hit enter.

Step 5: After that, Restart your linux mint system.
