A peaceful rally turned violent after protesters and police clashed inside a shopping mall in Shatin, Hong Kong, leaving at least 11 officers injured.

This comes after weeks of protests to oppose an extradition bill, which would have allowed extraditions to mainland China.

In the latest incident on Sunday, police claim to have arrested 37 people.
