A major study has found that many common anticholinergic drugs could increase the risk of dementia by up to 50 percent.
The study was published in the journal JAMA Internal Medicine on Monday and suggests that the link is strongest for certain types of drugs.
CNN reports the drugs of particular concern are antidepressants, bladder antimuscarinics, antipsychotics, and antiepileptic drugs.
