Wildlife hospital inundated with animals after June heatwave

During a ferocious heatwave that hit Europe at the end of June, humans were not the only victims. The Laroque Wildlife Hospital in the south of France is inundated with several species of animals and birds requiring treatment after falling victim to the searing temperatures, which left hundreds of birds falling from the sky and one poor swift "toasted on a wall" due to the heat.
