Samsung Electronics VP heads to Japan amid export restrictions on chips materials

Samsung Electronics Vice Chairman Lee Jae-yong traveled to Japan on Sunday evening... to find ways to minimize the damage of Japan's export restrictions to Samsung's semiconductor business.
Lee is reportedly scheduled to meet with local business leaders and discuss Seoul's response to Tokyo's retaliatory limits on exports of high-tech materials.
After his two-day visit to Japan,... Lee is expected to share the details of his visit with President Moon Jae-in and Korean business leaders during a meeting on Wednesday.
