Yesterday, on July 4, people all over the United States came together to celebrate a revolution. Today, on July 5, we're uploading this recording of Eric Lerner's presentation titled "Independent Electoral Action and the Mass Strike: How Do We Get to Socialism?"
In the presentation, Eric Lerner, a lifelong activist involved in the Jobs and Equal Rights for All electoral campaign, outlines the role that an electoral campaign could play in the event of a mass strike. Further, and most importantly, he explains how to "prime the ground" in the event that a mass strike does occur. If this country is to live up to its ideals, we must fundamentally change the way government goes about its business.
