Japan orders 1 million to evacuate as monster storm approaches

Japan ordered 1 million people to evacuate their homes on July 3, 2019 after heavy rains hit the south of the country. Kyushu island has received up to 1 metre (40 inches) of rain since June 28, and the deluge is expected to intensify in the coming days, bringing the threat of landslides.
