Thousands took to the streets in Sao Paulo on Sunday (June 30) in support of Justice Minister Sergio Moro following the release of leaked chats purportedly showing he worked with prosecutors to keep leftist Lula Da Silva out of the 2018 presidential race.

Footage shows protesters dressed in Brazil's national colours of yellow and green as they gather in the city centre.

''God patriot has dreamed of a right-wing country like we have now, what they are doing is an international plot to destroy the growth of Brazil,'' a protester says in the video.

''Bolsonaro is our hope, Brazil's trust is deposited in them, they are the envoys of God, a hope for all of us, it is everything we dream for Brazil, these two men and their team is everything that Brazil needs to have a decent future for all Brazilians,'' she adds.
