Chennai Photo Biennale: Inside the historic 140-year-old Senate House

Senate House was constructed by Robert Chisholm and took about five years - 1874 -1879 - to finish. The 19th century building that sits facing the Marina is located inside the Madras University campus and is considered to be one of the best and the oldest examples of Indo-Saracenic architecture in India. The Madras #SenateHouse was one of the 15 venues of the second edition of the #ChennaiPhotoBiennale .
