Jimmie Johnson's career probably started earlier than anyone else's in motorsport, with his first experience on 50cc motorcycles at just age 5. After being introduced to legend Jeff Gordon in 2001, he made the transfer to the NASCAR Sprint Cup where he finished 5th in his first full season. Johnson quickly flourished and has stuck with his one and only team 'Hendrick Motorsports' for every season since 2002. Together they've produced a record equalling 7 sprint cup championships, of which 5 were won consecutively between 2006 and 2011. He's one of the sport's most consistent drivers, with consecutive wins in 15 straight seasons and an appearance in every NASCAR season playoff since their introduction in 2004. Johnson's also consistently busy off the track too, with frequent TV and magazine appearances. He also takes a keen interest in skiing, cycling, running and swimming. And make a contribution to the lives of under-privileged children through 'The Jimmie Johnson Foundation'.
