South Korea is gearing up to host its largest annual sports competition the National Sports Festival, which will take place October in its 100th edition.
The Seoul Metropolitan Government says this year's event will see some thirty-thousand athletes compete at dozens of venues in the capital for a week.
To celebrate the festival's 100th anniversary,... a torch relay will take place throughout the nation,... starting from places including Dokdo island and the truce village of Panmunjeom.
In a first for the event, the Bank of Korea will mint ten-thousand commemorative coins.
