An exhibition of artwork based on the stories of families torn apart by the Korean War is being held at the Dora Observatory near the DMZ in Paju.
The four-part exhibition, titled "Nostalgic Face," was organized by the city of Paju, the Republic of Korea Army and the Wishes in All corporation to commemorate the opening of the new observatory.
It showcases paintings and installation artwork by about 70 artists …based on interviews of first-generation separated families.
The exhibition will last through August 31st …with hopes of healing the pain of separation and carrying messages of peace.
