the movie, according to multiple reports. Filming on 'Space Jam 2' is expected to start this offseason. The film will be a follow-up to 1996's
'Space Jam,' starring Michael Jordan. LeBron James' Lakers agreed to a trade earlier
this week with New Orleans for Anthony Davis. The Lakers are hoping that Davis will
decline his $4 million trade bonus to help free up salary-cap room to
sign another max-salary free agent. Davis' new movie contract for 'Space Jam 2'
could help make up for that $4 million bonus.
